Series Name: Shift Mazinger (season 2) Series Info: SimChamber Original Series Description: The Multiverse. A set of possible universes like ours, but not quite the same. Different choices, different events, infinite possible "what-if" scenerios. This is the continuation of one of them. With the world finally saved from the threats of Dr. Saotome, the Freedom and Justice Mazingers were put away to be used in experiments at the IRC. However this was not to last, as soon after Saotome's defeat, a new villian rose to replace him. Calling himself "Dr. Hell", this new enemy terrorized the world with his robots, which he refered to as "Invaders". In order to counter this threat, Dr. Kabuto, with the help of the IRC, develops Shift Chogokin Nu Z, a much stronger version of Shift Chogokin, and able to better resist the Getter Energy weapons used by Dr. Hell's Invaders. And just when things seem their darkest, an unexpected ally appears... Great Freedom Mazinger Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Nu Z Armor Height: 18 meters Weight: 43 tons Pilot(s): Kouji Kabuto Creator(s): Dr. Juzo Kabuto Description: Badly damaged in the final battle with Getter Calamity, the Freedom Mazinger was in no condition to face off against Dr. Hell's Invaders and was quickly overwhelmed. In the wake of this first encounter, Dr. Kabuto and the IRC produced Shift Chogokin Nu Z, a new armor material that would be more resilient against Getter Energy weapons, as well as any conventional attacks. While applying the new armor to Freedom and Justice Mazinger, they also improved and expanded on the weapons. With these upgrades, the newly dubbed Great Freedom and Justice Mazinger were ready to take on the Invaders. Attacks/Abilities: Drill Missiles: Small missiles which can drill into the target before exploding. The drill heads were later expanded to allow them to be used against an Invader which attacked from underground. Freedom Vulcans: Low-powered machine cannons mounted in the Great Freedom Mazinger's head. Blaster Vulcans: Great Freedom Mazinger can also deliver an electric charge to specially made Japanium bullets as they are fired, producing a powerful shot. Ammo is difficult to produce, however. Southern Cross Blades: Throwing stars launched from the Scrander. Rei Dou Beam: A freezing ray fired from Great Freedom Mazinger's eyes. Mazinger Blade: A sturdy sword. Rocket Punch: Great Freedom Mazinger launches it's fist at the enemy. Daisharin Rocket Punch: Great Freedom Mazinger spins it's arms to gather additional power before firing them at the enemy. Booster Cutter: Great Freedom Mazinger slashes the enemy with the wings of the Great Booster. Getter Rifle: A self-contained weapon which fires blasts of Getter Energy. Uses replacable batteries to power the containment fields. The damage output has been upgraded due to new developments in containment fields. Great Freedom Mazinger also carries 2 rifles, which can be combined together to increase the damage dealt. Burning Blade: By powering the ring of Japanium around the base of the Mazinger Blade just before striking the target, Great Freedom Mazinger can deal added Getter Energy damage. While the amount of energy used to power the Japanium is small, signifigantly more energy is used to produce a containment field which directs the Getter Energy towards the target. Breast Fire: Great Freedom Mazinger fires a large amount of Getter Energy from the Japanium plates on it's chest. Blazing Breast Fire: An even more powerful Breast Fire, capable of covering a wide area. Freedom Blazer: Great Freedom Mazinger fires beams of Getter Energy from cannons on the back. The cannons use containment fields to focus the Getter Energy in a single direction, resulting in greater power. Developments in containment fields and energy systems have allowed for a much finer degree of control of how much Getter Energy is released. Great Booster: A flight pack that can dock on Great Freedom Mazinger's back. However it can also be operated remotely to attack enemies if necessary. Double Mazinger Punch: Great Freedom and Justice Mazingers pummel the enemy with a combined assault from their Rocket Punches. Double Burning Blade: Great Freedom and Justice Mazingers use their Burning Blades to continously strike at an enemy. Double Blazer: Great Freedom and Justice Mazingers simultaniously fire their Blazers at the enemy. Fire Typhoon: As Great Justice Mazinger makes a typhoon with it's fans, Great Freedom Mazinger fires it's Breast Fire into it, creating a swirling inferno that engulfs the enemies. Blazing Getter Tomahawk: As Getter Chaos swings the Final Getter Tomahawk, Great Freedom Mazinger fires the Blazing Breast Fire into it for more power. Final Dynamic Special: A devistating attack where Great Freedom and Great Justice Mazingers blast their enemies with full power Breast Fires, while Getter Chaos uses the Getter Beam Cannon. Japo-Get Drive: The Drive consists of a number of high-capacity batteries that store the workable energy. Once the batteries start to get low, the Drive runs a portion of it through a sheet of Japanium contained in an energy absorbing housing. The amount used is negligable, however keeping the system stable while the massive influx of Getter Energy is trapped and converted uses a large amount of stored power: As a general rule, most Japo-Get Drives are programmed to recharge at 25% capacity, though usually only 10% capacity is required to keep all systems stable. Because all available energy is being used to keep the raging Getter Energy under check, the device being powered by the Japo-Get Drive cannot function unless it is connected to an external power source. Shift Chogokin Nu Z Armor: A much sturdier version of Shift Chogokin Armor. In addition, it is capable of defending better against Getter Energy type weapons. Great Justice Mazinger Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Nu Z Armor Height: 18 meters Weight: 43 tons Pilot(s): Tetsuya Tsurugi Creator(s): Dr. Juzo Kabuto Description: Badly damaged in the final battle with Getter Calamity, the Freedom Mazinger was in no condition to face off against Dr. Hell's Invaders and was quickly overwhelmed. Justice Boomerang: Great Justice Mazinger throws it's V-fin like a boomerang. Justice Blazing Boomerang: The V-fin was coated in Japanium, so when thrown it can also be charged to add additional Getter Energy damage. Mazinger Blade: A sturdy sword. Great Booster: A flight pack that can dock on Great Justice Mazinger's back. However it can also be operated remotely to attack enemies if necessary. Thunder Break: Great Justice Mazinger collects a large amount of electrical energy in it's hands and fires it off at it's enemies. Double Mazinger Punch: Great Freedom and Justice Mazingers pummel the enemy with a combined assault from their Rocket Punches. Double Burning Blade: Great Freedom and Justice Mazingers use their Burning Blades to continously strike at an enemy. Double Typhoon: Great Justice Mazinger combines it's Great Typhoon with Getter Abyss' Getter Cyclone for even more power. Shift Chogokin Nu Z Armor: A much sturdier version of Shift Chogokin Armor. In addition, it is capable of defending better against Getter Energy type weapons. Super Boss Borgrasper Armor Material: Junk Height: --- Weight: --- Pilot(s): Boss, Nuke, and Mucha Creator(s): Boss, Nuke, and Mucha Description: Not one to allow himself to be one-upped by Kouji, Boss upgraded his beloved Boss Borgrasper with things he's managed to salvage from the wreckage of Dr. Saotome's destroyed Mecha Suits. Attacks/Abilities: Borot Vulcan: A small machinegun mounted on the nose of the Boss Borgrasper. Borot Punch: Super Boss Borgrasper attempts to punch the enemy using the small manipulator arms mounted on the sides of the fusilage. Borot Missiles: Using compressed air provided by a scrounged air-pump, the Boss Borgrasper launches random junk it manages to pick up using the small "arms" mounted on the sides. Borot Machine Gun: A machine gun scavenged from a Mecha Suit Ginn G1. Borot Laser: The laser emitters from a Mecha Suit Cgue C2 were placed in the "face" in the front of the Super Boss Borgrasper. Borot Rifle: A Getter Rifle scavenged from a Mecha Suit Dinn D1. Borot Pressure Punch: Later in the series, Boss manages to recover one of Freedom Mazinger's rocket fists after it was heavily damaged in battle. He mounts it on one of the manipulator arms, though once fired there's no way for it to be recovered during battle. Super Deluxe Borot Punch: Super Boss Borgrasper attempts to punch the enemy using the recovered rocket fist, instead of launching it. Japo-Get Drive: Scavenged from the remains of the Mecha Suit Providence P2, Boss hoped to be able to use it to power the Super Boss Borgrasper. Unfortunately, no matter what he did he could not manage to get the energy containment and conversion systems running again, meaning that any Getter Energy produced will rage out of control, destroying anything around the unit. So instead, he plans to use it as a giant bomb if the need arises, willing to sacrifice the Super Boss Borgrasper in order to destroy the enemy. Diana Rouge Armor Material: Conventional armor-grade composite alloys Height: --- Weight: --- Pilot(s): Sayaka Yumi Creator(s): International Research Center Description: Unable to keep up with the power of the Invaders, the IRC upgraded the Aphrodite Rouge in response. Now named the Diana Rouge, it was equipped with more powerful weapons (including a smaller Blazer, like Justice Mazinger) and a Japo-Get Drive. Attacks/Abilities: Diana Vulcan: Low-powered machine cannons mounted in Diana Rouge's head. Tackle: Diana Rouge tackles the enemy. Diana Missile: More powerful missiles mounted in the chest. Diana Sword: A sturdy sword. Getter Rifle: A self-contained weapon which fires blasts of Getter Energy. Uses replacable batteries to power the containment fields. Diana Blazer: Diana Rouge fires a beam of Getter Energy from a cannon on the back. The cannon is similar to Freedom and Justice Mazingers', but is not as powerful. Repair: While Shift Chogokin cannot be truely fixed during action, the Diana Rouge carries some plates of conventional armor which can be quickly attached over damaged locations as a quick fix. Chaos Machine Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Armor Height: --- Weight: --- Pilot(s): Ryoma Nagare Creator(s): Dr. Saotome Description: Thought to be dead, Dr. Saotome suddenly reappeared with a new machine. Not wanting to let anyone other them him conquer the world, he offers a partnership with the IRC in order to defeat Dr. Hell. The Chaos Machine is not meant to fight on it's own, instead combining with Gaia Machine and Abyss Machine to form Getter Chaos. Attacks/Abilities: Machine Gun: A simple machine gun on the nose of the Chaos Machine to help hold back attackers. Getter Missile: More powerful missiles to use against heavier targets. Shift Chogokin Armor: A strong, sturdy material that is capable of withstanding large amounts of stress without breaking or buckling. However, when you apply a charge to the armor, it becomes capable of vibrating in such a way as to negate large amounts of impact force. The only downside is that the armour must have previously been struck by the object before it can "know" the frequencies required to negate the damage. Successive blows can increase the potency of the counter-frequency, though it can only go so far: After a certain point, the frequency cannot be refined any further. These vibrations are effective not only against physical attacks, but also against weapons based on Getter Energy Combine to Getter Chaos: When Chaos Machine, Gaia Machine, and Abyss Machine dock together, they form Getter Chaos. Getter Chaos Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Armor Height: 55.3 meters Weight: 380 tons Pilot(s): Ryoma Nagare, Benkei, Hayato Jin Creator(s): Dr. Saotome Description: After being defeated by Freedom and Justice Mazinger, Dr. Saotome went into hiding. When Dr. Hell suddenly started his ambitions to conquer the world, Saotome wouldn't accept it. Not wanting anyone other then himself to rule the world, he quickly finished up his latest project, a massive upgrade to the Getter Calamity, Getter Chaos. However, even with the upgrades, Getter Chaos couldn't handle the swarms of Invaders by itself, so Saotome offered a truce with the IRC in order to defeat Dr. Hell. Like Getter Calamity, Getter Chaos is comprised of 3 forms, with Getter Chaos being the main one. As the main form, it has the most firepower, but only average mobiity and defence (though it can fly, unlike the other 2 forms). However, while all the weapons are much more powerful, they also drain much more energy. In order to prevent the Getter Chaos from needing to recharge often when in battle, like the Getter Calamity did, Saotome developed what he called the "Hyper Japo-Get^2 Drive". The pilot, Ryouma, seems calmer then before for some reason. It's unlikely that he would have agreed to work with Kouji and Tetsuya willingly... Attacks/Abilities: Getter Vulcan: Low-powered machine cannons mounted in Getter Chaos' head. Getter Razor: Small blades on the sides of Getter Chaos's arms which can be used to slash at nearby foes. Getter Tomahawks: Similar in principal to the Getter Sabers, Getter Chaos has 2 axes which use a blade of Getter Energy traped in a containment field. Getter Tomahawk Boomerang: The axes can be thrown like boomerangs at a number of foes. Hyper Getter Rifle: A much more powerful version of the rifle used by Mecha Suit Providence P2. Spiral Getter Beam: Getter Chaos can use the Getter Beam Cannon to fire smaller, rapid-fire blasts that can swarm an enemy. Getter Beam Cannon: Very powerful Getter Energy cannon mounted in Getter Chaos's torso. Getter Change Attack: A fearsome coordination attack between all of the pilots of Getter Chaos. They first transform to Getter Abyss, who engulfs the targets in a powerful Getter Cyclone. It then transforms to Getter Gaia, who then procedes to pummel the helpless enemies with the Getter Drill. Finally they change to Getter Chaos who blasts them with a full power Getter Beam Cannon. Final Getter Tomahawk: Using almost all of the power it has, Getter Chaos forms a giant axe of Getter Energy, and cleaves everything around it. Final Dynamic Special: A devistating attack where Great Freedom and Great Justice Mazingers blast their enemies with full power Breast Fires, while Getter Chaos uses the Getter Beam Cannon. Open Get: The pilots of Getter Chaos are highly trained in being able to seperate and recombine their Getter Machines that they can dodge attacks by sperating just before the attack hits, and recombining to counterattack. They can also change forms seemingly instantaniously, allowing a different form to handle attacks it's best suited for. Hyper Japo-Get^2 Drive: Instead of using one Japo-Get Drive, Getter Chaos instead has 2 drives linked together. When the 2 of them are activated, one is used to power the containment fields for both of them, while the other is used to power Getter Chaos. However, the downside to this is that it means that more then half of Getter Chaos' battery packs are actually devoted entirely to keeping the system running. A number of shock absorbers are mounted around the drive to prevent shocks and damage from affecting it, however a large enough shock could still destabalize the drive, causing massive internal damage. In addition, should Getter Chaos try to use some of the devoted energy, the system will destabalize, as it cannot sustain the containment systems necessary. The system can be shut down if necessary, after it's been activated. Also, to activate the Hyper Japo-Get^2 Drive takes no more then activating a regular drive, as once the first drive turns on it can use it's output to activate the other. These vibrations are effective not only against physical attacks, but also against weapons based on Getter Energy Gaia Machine Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Armor Height: --- Weight: --- Pilot(s): Hayato Jin Creator(s): Dr. Saotome Description: Thought to be dead, Dr. Saotome suddenly reappeared with a new machine. Not wanting to let anyone other them him conquer the world, he offers a partnership with the IRC in order to defeat Dr. Hell. The Gaia Machine is not meant to fight on it's own, instead combining with Chaos Machine and Abyss Machine to form Getter Gaia. Unlike the other 2 craft, however, the Gaia Machine does not fly. Instead, it runs around on 4 legs, though these are still strong enough to propel the Gaia Machine a good distance in the air to attack low flying foes. Also unlike the original Raider Machine, the Gaia Machine carries a Japo-Get Drive, to be combined with Chaos Machine's when they dock together. Attacks/Abilities: Getter Fang: Gaia Machine attacks with it's fangs and claws. Machine Gun: A simple machine gun on the nose of the Gaia Machine to help hold back attackers. Getter Missile: More powerful missiles to use against heavier targets. Shift Chogokin Armor: A strong, sturdy material that is capable of withstanding large amounts of stress without breaking or buckling. Combine to Getter Gaia: When Gaia Machine, Chaos Machine, and Abyss Machine dock together, they form Getter Gaia. Getter Gaia Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Armor Height: 55.3 meters Weight: 380 tons Pilot(s): Hayato Jin, Ryoma Nagare, Benkei Creator(s): Dr. Saotome Description: The second form of Getter Chaos, Getter Gaia is again focused on speed more then firepower. Still able to perform the deadly "Mach Special", Getter Gaia can easially outmaneuver most opponents, while slowly saping their strength with weak, yet repeated, attacks. The pilot, Hayato, seems calmer then before for some reason. It's unlikely that he would have agreed to work with Kouji and Tetsuya willingly... Attacks/Abilities: Getter Vulcan: Low-powered machine cannons mounted in Getter Gaia's head. Getter Drill: Getter Gaia has a drill for an arm which it can use to attack foes, or to burrow underground to attack subterranian foes. Drill Storm: When the drill spins at a very high speed, it creates a tornado that engulfs a group on enemies, pelting them with debris. Mach Special Attack: Perfecting his technique of attacking at high speeds, Hayato uses the Mach Special maneuver to attack his opponent with low-powered jabs from the Getter Drill from all angles. However, even though the jabs are low-powered, the energy usage is enormious, usually enough to drop Getter Gaia's energy reserves past the safe acceptable amount if the Hyper Japo-Get^2 Drive is active. Drill Shaker: Getter Gaia sticks the drill in the ground and spins it, causing a powerful earthquake around it. Not wanting to let anyone other them him conquer the world, he offers a partnership with the IRC in order to defeat Dr. Hell. The Abyss Machine is not meant to fight on it's own, instead combining with Gaia Machine and Chaos Machine to form Getter Chaos. Like the original Forbidden Machine, Abyss Machine is protected by the Getter Energy Reflector. It also can transform into a submarine for underwater combat. Attacks/Abilities: Machine Gun: A simple machine gun on the nose of the Abyss Machine to help hold back attackers. Getter Torpedoes: Torpedoes to use against heavier targets. These vibrations are effective not only against physical attacks, but also against weapons based on Getter Energy Getter Energy Reflector: The Getter Abyss uses special containment fields to allow for better negation, or even total reflection, of Getter Energy type weapons, at the cost of additional power. There is also an added defence against non-Getter Energy weapons, though it's not as effective. Combine to Getter Abyss: When Abyss Machine, Chaos Machine, and Gaia Machine dock together, they form Getter Abyss. Getter Abyss Armor Material: Shift Chogokin Armor Height: 55.3 meters Weight: 380 tons Pilot(s): Benkei, Hayato Jin, Ryoma Nagare Creator(s): Dr. Saotome Description: The final form of Getter Chaos, Getter Abyss is once again the naval combat form, as well as the heavy defender. In addition to being agile underwater on it's own, Getter Abyss can also transform into a submarine mode for more mobility. The pilot, Benkei, seems calmer then before for some reason. It's unlikely that he would have agreed to work with Kouji and Tetsuya willingly... Attacks/Abilities: Getter Vulcan: Low-powered machine cannons mounted in Getter Abyss' head. Getter Lance: A strong lance. Strong Cannon: Getter Abyss shoots it's foe with powerful railguns mounted on it's back. Finger Net: Getter Abyss launches a net from it's fingers that entangles the target. Getter Torpedoes: Powerful torpedoes used for combating underwater foes. Getter Cyclone: Using fans in it's neck, Getter Abyss engulf the targets in a cyclone, stunning them momentarially. Daisetsusan Oroshi: Getter Abyss grabs the foe, then spins him around before finally hurling him far into the distance. Missile All-Out Attack: Getter Abyss fires an all-out assault with the multitudes of missile launchers mounted across it's frame. Getter Break: Getter Abyss collects Getter Energy between it's hands before hurling it at it's foe.
