I
think a smaller game would be better.. The reason: well, you don't
have to work forever (slacker), you actually have people finish it,
players look up to and ask if you could make a longer game or ask if
you could add something, players would like to play the next game
made by you, and plus you could say that you made more than one
game. If this guy is for real and the
game exists, let me in on it.

See, RPG Creator has been at this
for around 6 months now. Yes, 6 months. From teh first post at RMD
to now, this 'joke' has been going on for nearly half a
year.
But even still, I love seeing RPG Creator post. It's

not wasting perfectly good dog-in-a-can on that.
Anyway,
here's an explanation of why the game's so long.
When you
rest at the inn, the innkeeper tells you that all the beds are full
except on on the very last floor. Getting there takes 5
hours.
There are 5000 spells. After you learn the best one
(Ultima) you will always scroll right down to get to it. This will
take you a month.
There's a floor in the tower with invisible
events that take you back to the start. You'll be an old man before
you get through this.
And obviously, since RPG Creator thinks
that technology and money are evil, there will be no currency in the
game, and your weapons will be clubs with nails in them at best,
although that's still borderline technology if you count the nail.

also won't be any sunscreen, since it causes skin cancer, not the
sun.
But hey, you know, it would be kinda surprising if
RPG Creator actually did release something. I mean, there have been
screenshots. This is kindof an eagarly awaited game, since everyone
wants to know what RPGC is on. |

time he's halfway done, RM2K3 will be released legally, and he'll
release his game too late in RM2K, no one would care! Lol, but
really, RPG Creator's just trying to give us a good laugh, and I

for one if this pathetic thing is real then I feel sorry for any
lifeless fool who has time to beat it. and if it is 1000 hours long
then that means he spent way over a thousand years testing it it
would take like 10,000 to test it thourghouly so I doubt it and

Antioch Wars
has an inn with a whopping one THOUSAND floors! All of them
completely unique! And your pathetic 100-floor cave and tower can't
possibly measure up to the first dungeon in Antioch Wars, which is a
five hundred room cavern maze that ultimately leads to the Tower To
The Moon(with the amount of floors to realistically get there:
several hundred million). Antioch Wars also features a Burger King,
which kicks the crap out of your worthless McDonald's. And yes, it
IS a hundred-floor Burger King. Antioch Wars also features over 1200
playable characters, over ten thousand skills, four hundred
attributes/conditions, a million completely unique monsters, and an
ultimate villain with over a billion HP. The total game play time is
over ten years, and that's if you don't go on any sidequests or any
exploring or wandering around of any kind. Otherwise your
grandchildren may have to finish the game for you. And to top it all
off, the entire game is already 95% done and completely BUG
FREE!
(note: Antioch Wars may
not contain any of those things whatsoever)

Over 1,000 hours of gameplay time, minimum. (Average
5,000-10,000) There are 8760 hours in a year, so on average most
players will have to spend a solid year to play the game. I don't
think anyone at this forum, if they added up all the time they spent
playing any given game, has ever devoted a solid year of gameplay to
one game. WELL, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT. I WANTED TO MAKE A GAME
THAT WAS NOT ONLY PACKED FULL OF FUN, ACTION, ETC. BUT ALSO A GAME
THAT WOULD TAKE PLAYERS AT LEAST A SOLID YEAR OF THEIR LIFE TO
"MASTER" ONLY THE GREATEST PLAYERS OF ALL TIME WILL BE ABLE TO DO
THIS, OBVIOUSLY. I COULD DO IT, SO I'M SURE THERE ARE OTHERS WHO
COULD TOO. "MASTERING A GAME IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY THAN JUST
"BEATING" IT. FOR INSTANCE, IT TOOK ME ABOUT 50 HOURS TO BEAT FF5,
(IN ALL JAP) BUT IT, TOOK ME ALMOST 500 HOURS TO MASTER IT.
MASTERING A GAME MEANS FINDING EVERY SECRET AND EVERY POSSIBLE ITEM
THERE IS, ETC.
2. A 100 Floor INN (20% done) That's a
shitload of beds. I'll bet the maid has her work cut out for
her. HAHAHAHHA, BUT YES, THERE ARE LOTS OF BEDS....MAKE SURE TO
CLICK ON ALL OF THEM TOO, BECAUSE EACH ONE IS AN EVENT. THERE'S A
SECRET BED THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO SLEEP FOR FREE. ALL THE OTHER'S
HAVE DIFFERENT (SOME THE SAME) MESSAGES.
3. A 100 Floor Cave
(90% done) Lufia 2 beat you to it. No, wait, that was only 99
floors. But you only have 90 floors done anyway, so you've still got
some catching up to do. WELL, YOU'RE WRONG HERE TOO, BUT THAT'S
BECAUSE YOU ASSUME TOO MUCH BEFORE ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME. THE
100 FLOOR CAVE IS ACTUALLY PART OF MY "SUPER 200 FLOOR DUNGEON BONUS
SIDE QUEST" IT INCLUDES THE 100 FLOOR CAVE, AND ALSO THE 100
FLOOR TOWER. IT'S REALLY COMPLEX, BUT ALSO VERY FUN, CHALLENGING,
AND INNOVATIVE. AND I ACTUALLY HAVE ALL 100 FLOORS COMPLETE, BUT I
MENTIONED I WAS ONLY 90% OF THE WAY DONE, BECAUSE I HAVEN'T
PROGRAMMED ALL OF THE PUZZLES/EVENTS INTO THE CAVE YET.
4. A
100 Floor Tower (33% done) Tower, cave... what's the difference?
At least the inn has beds. THERE'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE. THE TOWER
HAS AT LEAST ONE BOSS FIGHT ON EVERY FLOOR! ALONG WITH A PASS
SYSTEM, WHERE THE (YOU) THE PLAYER MUST FIND THE PASS BEFORE BEING
ABLE TO ADVANCE TO THE NEXT FLOOR. ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD
CHALLENGE IS GONNA LOVE MY 200 FLOOR DUNGEON! IT'S MUCH BETTER THAN
LUFIA 2'S, I GUARANTEE IT, OR YOUR MONEY BACK!
5. An
original CBS (1% done) Join the club. The only people here
without a 1% finished CBS are me and Iish. =P NO THANKS, I DON'T
WANT TO JOIN ANY CLUB WITH THESE LOSERS. BUT, I WILL HAVE THE MASTER
CBS WHEN IT'S DONE.
6. An original menu system (0%
done) Mine's 100% done. So bleh. THAT'S GOOD....REAL
GOOD.
7. Over 11,000 different Monsters to do battle with.
(each with their own personality)(50% done) I'd blast you with
the fact that you can only allot 5000 monsters in RM2k, but since
you're using a CBS I guess it doesn't matter. 11000 personalities,
eh? Can you list them for us? WRONG AGAIN! THERE WAS A PATCH MADE
BY EMPORER EVIL WHICH ALLOWS US TO HAVE WAY OVER THE NORMAL RM2K
LIMIT. FOR EXAMPLE, ONE OF MY BOSSES IN THE TOWER, HAS 999,999 HP!
THE LIMITS WERE 900X900 MAPS, 30,000 VARIABLES, 30,000 SWITCHES, 2
BILLION LABELS, ETC. (JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING WAS UPGRADED EXCEPT FOR
THE HERO STATS. AND THAT PART ABOUT EACH ONE HAVING
A DIFFERENT PERSONALITY WAS A "JOKE." I LIKE TO JOKE AROUND, TOO.
BUT, THIS IS MAINLY ALL SERIOUS. THIS DEMO DOES INDEED EXIST, AND
THERE IS CURRENTLY OVER 10,000 IMPORTED MONSTER STES IN MY MONSTERS
FOLDER. I DOWNLOADED EVERY SINGLE ONE OFF THE NET, AND USED A LOT
FROM PREVIOUS RM2K GAMES ON THE NET!
8. Over 30,000 different
possible monster parties to run into! (30% done) I don't suppose
you've worked it up so all those possible personalities clash on the
battlefield. HAHAHHA!
9. Over 4,000 different chipsets
will be used. (25% done) In other words, your game will be the
most mismatched, disjointed, patchwork game ever. Good
work. HAHAHAHA! THIS WAS YOUR BEST GUESS YET.
10.
Different music on just about every map. In conjunction with #11,
that means about 4500 different songs. That's just shy of 45 times
the amount of songs in a typical 32-bit Final Fantasy game. I'M
THE MASTER.
11. Over 4,500 maps! (estimated at game finish,
about 500 maps so far) So far, 300 of them are used up in those
dungeons you already mentioned. =) WELL, ALMOST....BUT WHAT'S
YOUR POINT? THE DUNGEON'S ARE MEANT TO BE SIDE QUESTS (THE VERY,
VERY, VERY LONG ONES) THAT'S WHY I SAID IT WILL TAKE A LOT LONGER TO
MASTER MY GAME, THAN IT WILL TO BEAT IT. THE DEMO WILL TAKE 1,000
HOURS TO MASTER, AND THE FULL VERSION WILL TAKE A LEAST 1,000 HOURS
TO BEAT WITHOUT EVEN ATTEMPING ANY OF THE SIDE QUESTS!
12. An
average of about 50 events per map!! You know, you could get
250000 events on the biggest possible map. Hey, if you're going to
brag, go all out! I'M NOT BRAGGING THOUGH, I'M SIMPLY STATING THE
TRUTH. I KNOW MY GAME IS A LOT BIGGER THAN MOST OUT THERE. THAT'S
JUST BECAUSE I KNOW HOW TO MAKE LONG GAMES, QUICKLY. AND I WAS ALSO
NICE ENOUGH TO SHARE THAT SECRET WITH ALL OF YOU. (A FEW MONTHS AGO)
THE ONLY REASON I'M NOT EVEN MORE DONE WITH MY GAME THAN I AM, IS
BECAUSE I AM MAKING OTHER GAMES TOO. MY OTHER MAIN PROJECT WHICH IS
GOING TO BE CONSIDERABLY LARGER THAN THE REST OF THE GAMES OUT
THERE, IS CALLED "SHROOM QUEST." IT'S A POINT AND CLICK "SIERRA"
STYLE ADVENTURE GAME, WITH 16 MILLION COLOR GRAPHICS. (THERE'S NOT
REALLY THAT MANY COLORS IN THE GAME THOUGH, DUH.)
13. Over
150 bosses to do battle with in just one tower! Do they all have
their own personalities? Is this in addition to, or included in, the
11000 monsters already mentioned? Is this in the 100 floor tower? If
so, that's a boss per floor, and then some! ACTUALLY, THESE
BOSSES "DO" HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITES, DEATH SCENES (WHEN YOU BEAT
THEM), ETC. ALSO, THERE IS DIFFERENT BATTLE MUSIC FOR EACH BOSS.
(DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS, TOO) AND YES, THIS IS IN THE 100 FLOOR
TOWER, OR BETTER KNOWN AS PART OF MY "200 FLOOR SUPER
DUNGEON"
14. Countless caves, towers, towns and awesome areas
to explore. My, you really like your caves and towers,
huh? HAHAHAHAHA
15. Many different worlds and time zones,
to travel through. So like, after you finish the 100 floor
tower, you can go back in time, then finish it again! Then again and
again! The fun never stops! ACTUALLY, NO. MY TIME ZONE SYSTEM, IS
ALMOST LIKE CHRONO TRIGGERS, BUT IT'S EVEN BETTER, I THINK. IT'S

SUCKCORE TUNE, FROM SCRATCH. WITH THE PROGRAMS AND DRUM MACHINES OUT
NOW, IT'S VERY SIMPLE FOR ME.

YOU GO THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU THE WRONG WAY, YOU'LL GET RUN OVER BY
A CAR. I EVEN MADE THE ANIMATIONS MYSELF!

den, hiphop hotel, and smoke shop are 3 to mention! So you go
down and get toasted at the smoke shop, wake up naked and penniless
in the hiphop hotel, and then go to the drug free den to recover,
eh? Sounds like your "real life" is more exciting than
mine. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
24. Over 5,000 different possible
items to get! (10% done) You're obviously not using the built-in
RM2k inventory, then, which is limited to exactly 5000. YES I AM.
IT'S JUST PATCHED, SO NOW I CAN HAVE ABOUT 30,000 ITEMS IF I
WISH.
25. Over 150 Bonus side quests to complete if you wish!
(15% done) Only 150? In a 10000 hour long game, I'd expect at
least 1500. YOU'RE NOT THINKING AGAIN. THESE ARE "SIDE QUESTS"
THERE IS PLENTY OF THE "MAIN GAME" TO KEEP YOU BUSY FOR A THOUSAND
HOURS. (WELL, THERE WILL BE WHEN IT'S FINISHED. I AM MAINLY WORKING
ON MY SIDE QUESTS FOR THE DEMO) I'LL HAVE WELL OVER A THOUSAND HOURS
OF OPTIONAL SIDE QUESTS, WHICH WILL BE EVEN MORE DIFFICULT THAN THE
MAIN GAME.
26. A lot of mini-games if you get bored with the
RPG (Highly Unlikely) Why offer diversions to the RPG if the
player won't want to play them? JUST INCASE. PLUS IT WAS FUN
TAKING RPG MAKER TO IT'S LIMIT, USING COMPLEX VARIABLE SCRIPTS. I
STARTED OUT MAKING A SIMPLE GAME WITH SWITHCES, AND THEN THE MORE I
LEARN ABOUT RM2K, THE MORE I PROGRAM. I LIKE TO PROGRAM THINGS,
COMPLEXLY, FOR SOME REASON....MAYBE BECAUSE OF MY HIGH
IQ.

before! Beats FF4! I promise not to believe it. For your sake, of

EXPLAIN IT AGAIN FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED CAPACITY....I USED A PATCH
CREATED BY THE EVIL EMPORER, AND IT ALLOWS UPTO 900X900 SIZED MAPS.

31. A house of Crazed Events, with all of the bad
stuff in one room! You should make it a 100 floor House of Crazed
Events. HAHAHAHAHH! NOW THAT'S AN IDEA! (ALTHOUGH I DONT HAVE
THAT MANY EVENTS, YET...SEE, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND......THE HOUSE OF
CRAZED EVENTS IS ONLY ONE ROOM BIG, AND IT'S PACKED WITH EVENTS, I
MEAN PACKED. I TOOK RM2K AND MY 400 MHZ CPU TO THE LIMIT, AND THE
THING ACTUALLY WAS GOING SO SLOW, IT SEEMED TO JUST "FREEZE!" BUT, I
CHANGED A FEW THINGS AROUND, AND MADE IT RUN SMOOTHLY. MY POINT IS,
IF THE HOUSE WAS 100 FLOORS, IT WOULD HAVE OVER 10,000 EVENTS IN IT.
THAT'S TOO MANY FOR EVEN ME TO MAKE, IN JUST ONE HOUSE! MAYBE THE
WHOLE GAME WILL HAVE THAT MANY, BUT DEFINITLY NOT ONE
HOUSE!
32. A 500x500 map in the 200 floor dungeon!! (100%
done) You know, if you filled up that dungeon with 500x500 maps,
and filled them all up with events, that's 25000000000 events just
in that one dungeon! Gazow! YEA WELL, I WOULD (OR COULD) NEVER DO
THAT. LET'S GET SERIOUS HERE.
33. Original Puzzles, made by
me. So we're ensured their quality, then. THAT IS
CORRECT.
34. A jumping system. (100% done) Hop! Hop! Do we

similiar to that of FF7. If it's a materia system, it's exactly
like FF7. Otherwise it is, by default, not a materia system.
Duh. DUH, IT'S MY SYSTEM, WHICH IS VERY SIMILIAR TO THE MATERIA
SYSTEM OF FF7. I DON'T HAVE A NAME FOR IT, YET.

different Panaramas! (Cool Backgrounds) So you'll be reusing them
alot, then? NO, ACTUALLY IF I DO ABOUT 5,000 MAPS TOTAL, THAT
WOULD BE AN AVERAGE OF USING EACH ONE TWICE. (IF I USED A DIFFERENT
ONE FOR EACH MAP)
38. Over 5,000 different Charsets!
(Characters, objects, NPC's, etc.) Yes, but are they all
playable? I thought not. DUH, OF COURSE, THEY'RE NOT ALL
PLAYABLE. NPC STANDS FOR "NON PLAYER CHARACTER" BUT I DO KNOW HOW TO
USE THE "SET PASSWORD" COMMAND, WHICH WOULD ALLOW THE PLAYER TO
CONTROL NPC'S WITH THE PUSH OF A BUTTON. IT'S VERY SIMPLE, EVEN YOU
JABRONIES PROBABLY KNOW IT.
39. Over 3,000 different
Backdrops! (battle backgrounds) Why do you need backdrops if
you're making a CBS? Why not just make maps instead? THE CBS IS
JUST ANOTHER FEATURE OF MY GAME...IT WILL NOT BE THAT WAY FOR
"EVERY" BATTLE. THAT WOULD TAKE FOREEVR TO PROGRAM ANYWAY! MY GAME
HAS A LOT OF BATTLES IN IT! THE DEFAULT BATTLE SYSTEM DOES SUCK
THOUGH, SO I MADE EVEN NORMAL BATTLES BETTER, BUT I WOULDN'T CALL
THAT A CBS, REALLY, SINCE IT'S STILL A SHITTY DBS, AND NOT A SBS,
YET.
40. Over 3,000 different Animations! If there are
over 5000 different spells (#41), then you'll be reusing animations
an awful lot... and that doesn't count enemy attacks, character
weapon animations, items, and other such nonsense. THAT WAS YOUR
DUMBEST REPLY YET, CONSIDERING YOU CAN RESUE THE SAME ANIMATION FILE
AND MAKE LOADS OF DIFFERENT ANIMATIONS WITH IT. USE YOUR
IMAGINATION!
41. Over 5,000 different Magic Spells! That's
gonna be a looooong menu. HAHAHAHAH! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ANY LONG
MENUS.. THERE WILL NEVER BE A SINGLE MENU WITH THAT MANY THINGS
ON IT.
42. A Job and Ability System! (kinda like FFV)(0%
done) Hmm... an ambiguous description of a systme that isn't even

560000 tiles more than is possible with RM2k! WRONG, ANYTHING IS

WAY, IF YOU MISSED IT EARLIER, I USED A PATCH THAT ALLOWS ME TO MAKE
900X900 MAPS. WAKE UP MAN, I DOWNLOADED IT FROM "THIS" SITE! IT'S
BEEN OUT FOR MONTHS NOW, BUT I TRIED TO D/L IT AGAIN, AND I GOT A
BROKEN LINK, SO MAYBE THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT. I'D BE
HAPPY TO SEND IT TO YOU, AS LONG AS THAT EVIL EMPORER DOESN'T
MIND.
46. Puzzles that will boggle anyone's mind!! (10%
done) Your puzzles are so good that you decided they'd have to be
mentioned twice? Wow, they must be REALLY good. HAHAHAHAHHA! YOU
KNOW IT.
47. Lots of Spoofs and Funny Jokes. I've seen
your sense of humor, and I must say that this concerns me. DON'T
WORRY, THERE'S HUMOR IN IT FOR EVERYONE. I USED DIFFERENT
PERSONALTIES THROUGHOUT THE GAME, TO MAKE SURE THAT THERE'S STUFF IN
IT FOR EVERYONE. I WANTED TO MAKE A BALANCED GAME, BUT IT'S SO
LARGE, THAT IT'S STILL VERY UNORGANZIED RIGHT NOW. AS YOU ALL
KNOW, I'M NOWHERE NEAR COMPLETE WITH THE FULL GAME!
48. Lots
of Voices are dubbed in with the text, with impersonations! Like,
a Sean Connery impersinator? You know, it'd be a lot more ambitious
to just say "real celebrity voices!!" instead. WELL, SINCE I AM
THE ONE IMPERSONATING THEM, I'D LIKE TO KEEP THE TRUTH. I KNOW, I
KNOW, I GOT LOTS OF TALENTS. (I DO THE BEST IMPERSONATIONS YOU'LL

49. Professional, yet extrememly long, fun, and
laid-back to play. Yeah, yeah. We get it. You like yourself a
whole lot. Why is this listed as a feature? THIS HAS NOTHING TO
DO WITH ME LIKING MYSELF A LOT...IT'S JUST A SIMPLE, TRUE, FEATURE.
BESIDES, YOU WOULDN'T KNOW IF LIKE MYSELF A LOT OR NOT...I COULD
HAVE LOW SELF ESTEEM.
50. There will be NO BUGS. It has been
tested a lot OTIMES. Very addictive. All 10000 hours have been
tested "lot OTIMES"? Do your playtesters still have their eyes
inside their sockets? SEE, IF I EXPLAIN THIS TO YOU, YOU'LL SEE
IT CYRSTAL CLEAR. MY GAME IS VERY LONG, BUT IT'S EXTRA LONG FOR THE
MAIN REASON THAT I HAVE SUPER HARD PUZZLES, AND DUNGEONS. IT WILL
TAKE THE PLAYER LOADS OF TIME TO GET THROUGH THEM, WHILE IT TOOK ME
JUST MINUTES. SINCE I CREATED THE PUZZLES, AND TESTED EACH ONE RIGHT
AFTER, I KNEW HOW TO SOLVE IT RIGHT AWAY, AND I KNEW THERE WERE NO
BUGS. I TEST MY GAME ALL THE TIME...NOBODY'S PERFECT, BUT IT WILL BE
99% BUG FREE, I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT.
51. There's something in
it for everyone. Is there something in it for SATAN!? You put
something in your game for SATAN to enjoy!? I don't want to play a
game that SATAN would like! ACTUALLY I DID. THERE'S STUFF IN IT
FOR EVERYONE, LIKE I SAID.
52. The most challenging game ever
made. Period. Then... how is it laid-back (#49)? I'm... I'm
confused. YOU'RE NOT OPENING YOUR MIND....IT'S COMPLETELY OBVIOUS
TO ME THAT A GAME CAN BE THE MOST CHALLENGING AND STILL LAID BACK AS
WELL. FOR EXAMPLE, SOME PARTS ARE EXTREMELY CHALLENGING, BUT NOT

BACK WITH NO CHALLENGE AT ALL, FOR EXAMPLE "THE SMOKE

not true... no game is more fun than BOOBY KIDS! (Seriously, go
surfing around some obscure NES rom archives sometime. You'll laugh
